Project 86 has been hard at work in the studio on their full-length follow-up to their 2007 release, Rival Factions. The band issued an update from the studio today with some photos and a little insight on how the record will sound...
"Studio Update and Photos!
Well, we are still working. After recording drums @ The Bomb Shelter studios in L.A., we have been working hard in Riverside, CA @ The Improv Studios on vocals, guitar, and bass. As the record takes shape, it's becoming evident that we have another diverse record...there are heavy tracks, fast tracks, melodic tracks, and slow, pummeling songs as well. We always have a great time pushing ourselves to try new things...and this record is no exception. We plan to continue tweaking the songs for next week or so, until we begin mixing in Nashville. The lyrical focus thus far centers on redemption, justice, judgment, and mercy. Check our photos section for some studio pics!"
